My approach

I am an accountant, manager, mentor, mentee, instructor, leader, and plain-talking New Yorker. My goal has always been to make accounting and finance FUN!

Accounting can feel like a wall of new words, formulas, and rules. By putting complex topics in plain English, I want to make them less intimidating and help you understand why a method works—not only memorize what to do. We can take the subject one useful step at a time and make it something you can use with confidence.

What I teach

I teach accounting and finance, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, financial management, financial statement analysis, financial markets, and risk management. You’ll also find mathematics, Excel, business, and study skills here because they help you do well in these subjects.

Whether you are learning the accounting equation, working through time value of money, or trying to make sense of a spreadsheet, start with the subject that matches the question in front of you.

Why Teaching with 2E exists

I created Teaching with 2E to give students a place to slow down and work through accounting and finance at their own pace. Here you can watch a lesson, download a lecture, or follow a helpful link when you need another explanation.
